Our story
Born in the field, not on a slide.
Axessibly started from a concrete need: verify website accessibility in a way that is fast, repeatable, and understandable. The tools we found were often built for huge corporate audits, unclear about results, or far from the code developers actually need to fix.
We built our platform to use it ourselves first: scans across pages and sitemaps, issues highlighted in HTML, clear priorities. Then we opened it to anyone who wants to start on their own, with a free Starter plan forever.
In parallel we strengthened our consulting work: in-depth audits, keyboard and screen reader testing, transparent reports, and code fixes when requested. The tool and consulting do not replace each other: they reinforce each other.
Our approach
Automated where it is enough, manual where it matters.
As in the industry, automated tests catch roughly 30–40% of WCAG non-conformities. The rest needs human review: keyboard navigation, screen readers, reading order, and interactive component behaviour.
Our method is straightforward: start with an Axessibly scan, then confirm every finding manually. No false positives buried in the report, no checkbox exercise.
You get a clear picture: what is wrong, where it lives in the code, how severe it is, and how to fix it. If you ask us to, we implement the fixes and run verification again afterwards.
